At BlueHarbor Tech LLC we stand behind the quality of our work. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available, how to request one, and how cancellations are handled.
1. Professional Services (Custom Software, Web, Mobile, Marketing, Consulting)
Engagements are governed by a signed Statement of Work or Master Services Agreement and billed against delivered milestones or monthly retainers.
- Discovery / pre-engagement deposits are refundable for 7 days from payment if discovery has not yet started.
- Monthly retainers may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Fees for the current billing month are non-refundable once work has commenced; any unused, prepaid hours roll over for up to 60 days.
- Milestone payments for completed and accepted deliverables are non-refundable.
- If a deliverable does not meet the agreed acceptance criteria, we will remediate at no additional cost within the warranty period (typically 30 days after delivery).
2. SaaS Subscriptions
- Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time and will not auto-renew the following month.
- Annual subscriptions are eligible for a pro-rated refund within 14 days of the initial purchase if cancelled in writing.
- After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, but you retain access for the remainder of the paid term.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or cancellation, email sale@bluehbr.com with your invoice number, the reason for the request, and the date of purchase. We will respond within 3 business days.
4. Processing Time
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 – 10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. Non-Refundable Items
- Third-party costs (hosting, licenses, ad spend, paid tooling) already incurred on the client's behalf.
- Custom deliverables that have been accepted in writing.
- Setup or onboarding fees, once setup work has commenced.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we resolve the vast majority of issues directly. Initiating a chargeback without prior contact may result in suspension of services pending resolution.
